Copper impregnation for permanent protection of garden wood (and more)
IT PREVENTS FROM THE GROWTH OF FUNGI CAUSING DEEP DECOMPOSITION OF THE WOOD, preserving the structural characteristics of the wood for years to come
IT PROTECTS AGAINST WOOD DESTROYING INSECTS, preventing structural decay and loss of technical properties of the wood
IT CONTAINS COPPER which has a very strong biocidal properties confirmed by many years of experience
IT INCREASES THE UV RESISTANCE OF THE WOOD
IT IS NON-LEACHABLE and can therefore be used to protect wood that is installed indoors and will be exposed to direct weather conditions (1, 2, 3 class of wood use)

COPPER CARBONATE – strongly bactericidal and fungicide, permanently bonded to wood
COPPER HYDROXIDE – it effectively kills many microorganisms, permanently bonded to wood
Didecylmethylpoly(oxyethyl)ammonium propionate – antifungal, non-leaching properties
DEKOLIT B also contains amines in its composition which enable the active substances to penetrate the wood structures and condition their bond with the lignin.

The moisture content of the treated wood should be max. 25%. The wood should be cleaned, dry, smooth, degreased, without residues of previous coatings. Infected surfaces should be cleaned down to untreated wood or replaced with new wood.
Pressure impregnation – prepare a 2% solution (dissolve 2 kg of product in 98 l of water).
Immersion impregnation – prepare an 8% solution (dissolve 8 kg of product in 92 l of water).
The pressure method is used in accordance with the autoclave’s instructions for use.
The tank immersion method is applied for approximately 4 hours
(depending on the moisture content and density of the wood) soaking the wood in an 8% solution.
Due to the copper content, the wood should be seasoned under a canopy immediately after impregnation, kept on spacers and protected from washing out for at least 48 hours after completion of the impregnation process. 48 hours after completion of the impregnation process. The total fixation time of the product in the wood is up to 4 weeks.
Wash tools with water.
Any leftover product must be collected for reuse or disposal.
Furniture and garden furniture are meant to remain beautiful for years to come. The strongly biocidal copper compounds contained in DEKOLIT B, which have been known for many years for their effectiveness, supplemented with the fungicide ammonium propionate, bind permanently to the wood and protect it for years. DEKOLIT B is ideally suited to the requirements of those building structures made of wood in use classes 1 to 3, especially structures for gardens, such as gazebos, woodsheds, terraces, pergolas, fences and garden furniture.
