The moisture content of the treated wood should be max. 25%. The wood should be cleaned, dry, smooth, degreased, without residues of previous coatings. Infected surfaces should be cleaned down to untreated wood or replaced with new wood.
Pressure impregnation – prepare a 3% solution (dissolve 3 kg of product in 97 l of water).
Immersion impregnation – prepare a 5% solution (dissolve 5 kg of product in 95 l of water).
The pressure method is used in accordance with the autoclave’s instructions for use.
The tank immersion method is applied for approximately 4 hours
(depending on the moisture content of the wood) soaking the wood in a 5% solution.
Due to the copper content, the wood should be stored under canopy immediately after impregnation, kept on spacers and protected from washing out for at least 48 hours after completion of the impregnation process. The total fixation time of the product in the wood is up to 4 weeks.
