DEKOSOL PROFI is available as a clear wood impregnating agent or in the following colours: green, brown and mahogany. It dyes the wood intensely in these colours, allowing a good differentiation of already impregnated areas. The dye is only an indicator to facilitate painting and can be washed out, while the wood impregnating agent is not washable.

The moisture content of the treated wood should be max. 25%. The wood should be cleaned, dry, smooth, degreased, without residues of previous coatings. Infected surfaces should be cleaned to untreated wood or replaced with new wood. The wood should not be infested with resin.
Prepare a 5% solution (dissolve 1 kg of product in 19 litres of water).
Apply to the wood surface by repeated painting or spraying at intervals of not less than 2 h. The number of treatments depends on the absorbency of the wood; it should ensure that the correct amount of product is applied.
Impregnation can also be carried out by bathing the entire components during a 4-hour soak or in pressure chambers.
Protect from rain for min. 72 hours after impregnation. Drying proceeds best when the wood is laid on spacers.
Wash tools with water.
DEKOSOL PROFI protects wood against various hazards, it is non-leachable and stains the impregnated wood well which makes it a frequently used wood impregnating agent in professional wood treatment plants for surface impregnation, impregnation by immersion in tanks and pressure impregnation.
