Fire protection, multifunctional wood impregnating agent
IT PROTECTS AGAINST FIRE, making the wood incombustible
IT PROTECTS AGAINST WOOD DESTROYING INSECTS, preserving the structural properties of wood for years to come
IT COMBATS INSECTS THAT HAVE ALREADY INFESTED THE WOOD, stopping their destructive impact
IT PREVENTS THE OCCURRENCE OF MOULDS, protecting the structure and look of the wood
IT PREVENTS THE OCCURRENCE OF BIOCOROSION, preventing the decomposition of the structure and loss of technical properties of the wood

In order to control the coverage of the wood with FIRESTOP, the dye provided with it can be added to the solution.
MIXING WITH OTHER PRODUCTS
FIRESTOP wood impregnating agent must not be mixed with any agents other than the dye provided with it.
SOAKING TIME
A detailed table of soaking times for different wood ranges is available from Dekspol.
OUTDOOR USE OF WOOD TREATED WITH FIRESTOP
Wooden elements used outdoors without canopy and therefore exposed to leaching must be treated with an additional coating. The use of a PROTECTIVE STAIN VARNISH is suggested.

BORIC ACID – it has strong fungicidal properties and strong insecticidal properties against common wood pests and some flame retardant activity
DISODIUM TETRABORATE – it is similar to boric acid for protection against fungi and insects PHOSPHATES – they act against fire by producing non-flammable gases
FIRESTOP IS THE FIRST POLISH WOOD IMPREGNATING AGENT TO OBTAIN AN APPLICATION PERMIT ACCORDING TO EUROPEAN STANDARDS!
Once the wood has been treated with FIRESTOP, it can be made fire resistant to the NRO (non-fire spreading) level.
Detailed information is specified in the documents:
– Technical Approval ITB no. AT-15-3172/2016
– National Declaration of Performance No. 1/2017 – Product Certificate ITB-0407/W.
WOOD PROTECTOR FIRESTOP WOOD IMPREGNATING AGENT CONCENTRATE
– Authorisation no. PL/2014/0126 for making available on the market and use of a biocidal product
FIRESTOP-treated wood can be used in use class 1 and 2.
Apply to wood that is clean, dry, smooth, degreased and free from residues of previous coatings. Infected surfaces should be cleaned to untreated.
The moisture content of the wood should be less than 25%.
The product is ready for use after preparation of a 20% aqueous solution (dissolve 1 kg of the product in 4 l of water, Mixing until completely dissolved). Do not mix FIRESTOP with other products.
Protect treated wood against leaching – keep under canopy or in well-ventilated areas.
The tools used when applying FIRESTOP can be washed with water.
FIRESTOP is an indispensable impregnation wherever wooden components need to be protected against the effects of fire. It is suitable for protecting wood not exposed to direct weathering, i.e. wood used indoors and under shelter. It can be used to protect rafter framings and other structural elements, stairs, joists, fireplace surrounds, roof soffit boards, etc. FIRESTOP can also be used for fire protection of wooden houses or facades, wooden acoustic screens, gazebos and woodsheds, provided they are coated with an additional layer protecting the wood impregnating agent from leaching – the use of a STAIN VARNISH is suggested.
