The product should come from the same production batch, different batches should be previously poured into one container and mixed thoroughly.
For wood used outdoors, use LAKIEROBEJCA OCHRONNA colorless only as the third layer after the previous application of colored layers.
For a beautiful gloss, remember to apply LAKIEROBEJCA OCHRONNA in thin layers (if necessary, remove excess with a cloth) and sand the protruding fibers.
The color we achieve on the wood surface depends on its species, type of treatment, and the number of layers applied.
Elements made of wood impregnated with FIRESTOP, used outdoors and therefore exposed to washing-out, must be covered with a layer of LAKIEROBEJCA OCHRONNA.

The wood must be cleaned, dry (up to 25% moisture content), smoothed, with no residues of previous coatings. Infected surfaces should be cleaned to bare wood or replaced with new ones.
Use the commercial product. Immediately before use, the product should be mixed thoroughly to obtain the right consistency.
Apply a very thin first layer to the wood, just dip the brush tip and apply the varnish along the grain. If necessary, remove excess with a cloth. When the fibers rise after applying the first layer, they should be removed with fine-grained sandpaper. Apply the second layer after the first one is completely dry (after circa 14-24 hours), exactly the same as the first time. If necessary, apply a third layer. Mix during work to maintain a homogeneous consistency. Work in temperatures above 5 °C, preferably around 20 °C
1 liter of LAKIEROBEJCA OCHRONNA is sufficient for one painting of approx. 15-20 m2 wood surface (differences may occur depending on the species, hardness, and smoothness of the wood surface).
LAKIEROBEJCA OCHRONNA dries for 14 to 24 hours at 20 °C and 55% of relative air humidity.
Wash the tools with white spirit.
On hard woods, varnish coatings may bind to the surface worse – this problem does not apply to solvent-based varnishes. Similarly, when we want the wood surface to have a beautiful gloss, we will achieve an excellent effect by choosing a solvent varnish. Therefore, when we want to give facades, pillars, beams, balustrades, shutters, doors, or garden furniture a noble look and strong gloss, LAKIEROBEJCA OCHRONNA will be a good choice. We also recommend LAKIEROBEJCA OCHRONNA to protect against washing-out wooden elements previously impregnated with FIRESTOP.
