In order to achieve a decorative effect after protecting the wood with DEKOLIT PRO, apply decorative agent as a topcoat from the Wood Protector line:
– strong gloss – PROTECTIVE STAIN VARNISH decorative coating
– elegant gloss – decorative EXTRA LASURE coating – satin gloss – decorative LAZURE coating
– matt effect – decorative coating applied with decorative WOOD IMPREGNATING AGENT or W2 wood oil
Applying a decorative coating to the wood reduces the environmental impact of the wood impregnating agent.

DEKOLIT PRO
– Biocidal Product Marketing Authorisation no. 6627/16
IODOPROPYNYL BUTYL CARBAMINATE (IPBC) – a carbamate group agent showing efficacy against a wide range of fungi and mould species
PROPICONAZOLE – an ergosterol biosynthesis inhibitor from the triazole group with strong fungicidal properties
PERMETHRIN – a pyrethroid substance that is highly toxic to insects and permanently protects wood against their emergence
The moisture content of the treated wood should be max. 25%. The wood should be cleaned, dry, smooth, degreased, without residues of previous coatings. Infected surfaces should be cleaned to untreated wood or replaced with new wood. The wood should not be infested with resin.
Prepare a 4% aqueous solution (5 l of agent in 120 l of water). Mix well until a homogeneous solution is obtained.
Apply to the wood surface by painting or spraying a 4% solution several times at intervals of not less than 2 hours. The number of treatments depends on the absorbency of the wood; it should ensure that the correct amount of product is applied.
Immersion tank impregnation is applied by soaking the wood for 4 hours in a 4% solution. The soaking time depends on the moisture content, density and type of wood. We can control it with the loss of working solution.
Pressure impregnation is applied in accordance with the autoclave’s instructions for use.
After impregnation, season the wood under a canopy on the
spacer for min. 48 hours. Surfaces where the product was applied
can be coated after 24 hours.

People use wood in many different ways to build structures and objects, which are then used in various conditions and are supposed to be pleasing to the eye and last for many years. A product that protects wood against a multitude of biological damaging agents in a wide range of conditions has to cope with this diversity. DEKOLIT PRO contains a number of state-of-the-art active substances for perfect protection against biological corrosion in the broad sense of the word and for a very long time. Moreover, the strength and quality of the active substances make DEKOLIT PRO resistant to impregnation errors.
